Seriously though, I have been reading about biblioclasm and the destruction of knowledge as a part of ethnicide in countries like Afghanistan, Bosnia, Kashmir(technically a province not a country) Cambodia and Iraq which is really sobering stuff.
What is most shocking is that only fifteen years ago Kabul was a flourishing, cultural capital and before the Khymer Rouge Cambodia had a high rate of literacy, a proud heritage and was a fairly well modernised nation.
Good on Google! I hope these can be used to help rebuild these devastated nations.
