I don't care what you all think: Rick Springfield's 'Jessie's Girl' is a bitchin' song.

I honestly like the part that goes "I'm looking in the mirror all the time, wondering what she don't see in me. I've been funny, I've been smooth with the lines, ain't that the way love's supposed to be?"
I don't think that Rick Springfield had a lot of trouble finding dates, but in that part of Jessie's Girl Rick seems to know the frustration of teenage crushes when the girl you want so badly won't look twice at you. The same sort of thing is articulated by Elvis in Red Shoes when he says, "I say that I'm so happy I could die. She said, 'Drop dead', and left with another guy."
Rick did his share of lousy tunes, but Jessie's Girl ain't all bad.
I swear to god, if you put that in my head I am flying down there and giving you a beatdown. Aggghh, I can feel it creeping in there! Aiieeeeeee
Where can I find a woman like that?
